We keep things informal and in good faith. Here's what you're agreeing to when you enroll, and what we commit to in return.
Terms version: v1
Last updated: June 2026
Enrollment & Eligibility
By enrolling in a class at The Multiverse School, you confirm that:
You are 18 years of age or older, or you are under 18 and have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
The information you provide during enrollment is accurate and complete.
You understand that enrollment is for one individual — sharing account access is not permitted.
Payment
We operate on a pay-what-you-can model. When you enroll:
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
For subscription-based programs, your card will be charged at the billing interval shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime from your Stripe dashboard.
For one-time class purchases, you're charged once at enrollment.
If a payment fails, your access may be paused until the payment issue is resolved. We'll email you before taking any action.
Live class sessions may be recorded for the benefit of enrolled students:
Recordings are available on your student dashboard after the live session.
You have unlimited access to recordings of classes you're enrolled in, for personal learning use.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use recordings commercially without written permission.
By joining a live session, you consent to being part of the recording. If you prefer not to appear on camera, you are welcome to keep your camera off.
Course Materials & Intellectual Property
Curriculum materials, slides, and course content are provided for your personal learning. You may not resell or redistribute them.
Your projects are yours. Anything you build during a class belongs to you. We may showcase student work with your permission.
The Multiverse School's name, branding, and original content are our intellectual property.
Community Conduct
We're building a learning community, and we ask everyone to contribute to a respectful environment:
Treat fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect and good faith.
No harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior in class sessions, Matrix chat rooms, or any school communication channel.
If your conduct materially disrupts the learning environment, we may remove you from a class or program. In cases of removal for conduct, refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.
No Employment or Outcome Guarantee
The Multiverse School provides education and community. We do not guarantee employment, income, or any specific outcome from completing a course or program. Your results depend on your effort, circumstances, and many factors outside our control.
Class Cancellation by The School
Occasionally, a class or cohort may not fill or an instructor may become unavailable:
If we cancel a class before it starts, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
We'll notify you as soon as possible if a cancellation is necessary.
Accommodations
If you need accessibility accommodations or have specific learning needs, please email us at liz@themultiverse.school. We'll do our best to help.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the version number and date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Your continued use of the school after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong, we'd rather talk it out than lawyer up. If you have a concern:
